Letting go of certain activities or routines, can often feel like losing your comfort blanket. You’re scared of what might be to come, when you embrace change and venture into the unknown.
Underlying this is fear.
So long as there is fear, you will find reasons not to let go. Keeping you stuck.
These “habits” or “mindset” are stopping you from seeing the potential or excitement of the possibilities that would be available to you. If you were no longer focused on them.
How to let go
In order to release the things that have been holding you back; so that you are free to focus on what matters. You must first identify what it is that has been keeping you stuck.
Eliminating the things that have held you back, is about you. You need to fully understand it and what effect it has on you. Before you can let go it it and release any expectations you may have had surround it. That includes setting boundaries for yourself and/or to stop seeking external validation.
Only through creating awareness for yourself. On what it is that is holding you back will you then be able to eliminate these and move forward.
