Right now the real estate market is on fire. Every single real estate agent that you speak to will be seeing some level of success. Many are so busy closing so many deals that won’t have time to talk to you. Most will end this year with it being one of the most successful years in real estate.

Yet with the contraction and near out flatlining of the so many other industries globally right now. The real estate industry is seeing massive growth. Listing agents can’t bring on new properties quick enough and pretty much every buyers agent is experiencing multiple bidding wars. That’s if they have been able to get an offer in quick enough.

With less jobs in other sections. More and more people are currently in the process of taking their license, or moving into real estate full time. The future looks promising, everyone seems to be winning.

With the current conditions, even the newest real estate agent can start their first year with masses of success.

Success is for everyone

I for one am a big believer in abundance . I believe that there is unlimited resources available for everyone. That we all have the opportunity to create success and that whilst competition is healthy. It should never be a threat. So I don’t see a busy market place as anything other than people seeking out that success for themselves.

However the fact that the market is so hot right now. Has the potential to lead many people to believe that they have what it takes. And can achieve this level of success even in the most difficult of times.

The pace of the current market is the mask that many will not recognise until it’s too late. Because right now successes are abound for everybody. The sorry fact is that it will provide false hope to people. Who think that they can take this and achieve long term success in this industry. By doing just what they’re doing right now.

I am not one to rain on anyone’s parade, and above anything else I am passionate about seeing others succeed. I believe in celebrating the successes of others. As it make us gracious and takes nothing away from the success we are working on for ourselves.

Yet, the current conditions do have the ability to fool you.

Because when the market turns and as someone with longevity in this industry, I know it will. Those sales won’t be so easy.

The pace of the current market will mask those struggles for many newcomers. Who unfortunately many not be aware until it’s too late.
But behind the current success is reality. The current market is leading anyone to in real estate to believe; that they have what it takes to make be successful in this industry long-term. Now, I believe many of them do. But due to the pace of which this market is moving at present. Many are neglecting the fundamental skills and foundations. Skills they need to build a strong real estate business for the long term.

Don’t get caught out when this bubble bursts. Start making a plan now on how you will grow your success in the years to come. Take control of your destiny. If you leave it to chance. Chances are you will not have what you need to keep your success going once this ride is over.
