Founding member of Portugal Property, Keely Capel is leaving the business after 12 years to pursue her passion as a Business Coach.
A successful realtor, Keely helped launch Portugal Property from a small one-office operation in the Algarve to an award winning international real estate agency. Through Keely’s dedication and drive in her role as Director of Business Development she expanded the company in eight locations, while managing and leading a team of over 60 staff.
Last year Keely oversaw the merger of the business into Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, one of the Worlds biggest real estate brokers owned by business Tycoon Warren Buffett.
As a testament to her drive and passion for the industry during this demanding period in her career Keely became newly single Mum to two young boys, but managed to dedicate time to study and obtain certification as a professional coach and accreditation with the ICF (international coaching Federation).
“I enjoyed my time at Portugal Property but it now feels like the right time to move onto new challenges,” Says Keely, “I want to put my skills, knowledge and experience to good use in helping others in real estate to reach the levels of success that I have achieved. I look forward to the opportunities I have within this new role to work with some of the strongest brands both in Portugal and internationally.”
Keely works 1:1 with broker owners and agents who are looking to maximise the full potential of their brokerage and agents. While she has successfully coached both men and women realtors, Keely recognises the challenges faced by women in the industry, especially the working Moms. She champions supporting women in real estate through a variety of specialist packages from creating roadmaps and actions plans to ensure their success to a specialist group programme for mothers looking to build momentum and increase their Gross Commission Income.
